Larry Dean Stidham, 72 of Bingham Road, Shelby, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Cleveland County on October 29, 1947, he was the son of the late Morgan Ray Stidham and Lula Mae Chapman Stidham. He was retired from Beam Construction and attended Blessed Hope Baptist Church. Larry was a charter member of the Windjammer Club. He was a loving father and devoted husband.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Fitch, Jr. and a brother, Wayne Stidham.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Gloria Hollifield Stidham; son, Bobby Dean Stidham of Waco; two daughters, Gennie Thackerson and husband, Scott of Shelby and Chantelle Glover and husband, Ronald of Cherryville; a brother, Ray Stidham of Shelby; a sister, Sonya Parker and husband, Kevin of Casar; five grandchildren, Shyanne Stidham, Alexus Stidham, Matthew Thackerson, Andrew Thackerson and Bryce Lynn Glover and one great-grandchild, Jaxson Ridge.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions social distancing, mask will be required while attending services.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.

The burial will follow the service in the Trintiy Baptist Church Cemetery.
