Cherryville - Mr. Larry Floyd Patterson, 70, of Cherryville, NC,
passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his residence.

Larry was born on November 1, 1947 in Cleveland County, NC a son of the late
James Floyd Patterson and Vergie Beheler Patterson. He was employed at
Cleveland Lumber Company in Shelby and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane
Jones Patterson.

Survivors include four sons, Scott Patterson of Mooresboro; Joey Patterson
(Rachel) of Cherryville; Donny Patterson (Heather) of Lockhart, SC; Wendell
Poole (Cynthia) of Belwood; a daughter, Marsha Dawson (Richard) of Shelby; a
brother, Gary Patterson of Dallas; eleven grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the
home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Gospel
Way Baptist Church in Cherryville with the Rev. Kenneth Queen officiating.

Burial will be in City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.
