Larry Gene Walker, 63 of Dirty Ankle Road, Lawndale, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at his residence.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on November 29, 1958, he was the son of the late Johnny Walker and Ruby Lee Buff Walker. Larry was retired from Kendrion as a CNC Operator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Huss Walker and a brother, Danny Walker.

Survivors include two brothers, Ray Walker of Vale and Darrell Swink of Georgia and three step daughters, Tina Carpenter of Charlotte, Rhonda Navey of Hickory and Deborah Bells of Lincolnton and eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren .

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Patrick Mourglea officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
