Cherryville - Mr. Larry Reeves Hallman, 73, passed away on Monday, January
30, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare Systems - Cleveland in Shelby.

Larry was born in Lincoln County, NC on October 18, 1943 a son of the late
June Hallman and Esther Smith Hallman. He was retired as a knitting
supervisor for Meade Knitting Mill and Sweetree both in Cherryville. He
also was owner and operator of Hallman's Heating and Air and Appliance
Repair. Larry was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the Helpful Few
Sunday School class.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Ruby Ward Hallman of the home; three
daughters, Angela Carpenter and husband Joe of Clover, SC; Daphne Poovey and
husband Keith of Cherryville and Rhonda Dula of Newton; two brothers, Jerry
Hallman of Lincolnton and Kermit Hallman of Vale; one sister, Peggy Hall of
Maiden; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren including Evian
Rhodes who was the apple of his eye.

Visitation will be from 1:45 to 2:45PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Mt.
Zion Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 with
Rev. Wayne Key officiating.

Burial will be private.

Cherryville, NC 28021.
