Laura Faye Wilson
 Laura Faye Wilson, 94, formerly of Cleveland Pines Nursing Center for the last 12 years, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House.  A native of Cleveland County she was the daughter of the late Samuel Clarence and Laura Spangler Wilson.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Edward Wilson and her sister-in-law Evelyn Grayson Wilson.  Miss Wilson was a member of Double Shoals Baptist Church for over 65 years where she brought happiness to young and all alike with her God given gift of music and the love of sharing it with others.  Her life was filled with love of family and friends and all the special animals which needed her loving care and attention.

Miss Wilson is survived by her sister-in-law, Hazel Bolin Wilson; nephew, Samuel Howard Wilson and wife Myra Davis; special great nephews and nieces, Jimmy T. Wilson and wife Melissa, David E. Wilson and wife Sharon, Carmen A. Blanton; and many great- great nieces and nephews.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and friends at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center who cared for Faye the last 12 years and to the Kings Mountain Hospice House staff for their loving care and support in her final days.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Brian Johnson will be officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.  At other times the family will be at the home of David and Sharon Wilson, 2925 Laura Road, Shelby, NC 28150.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Cleveland Pines Nursing Center, 1404 N. Lafayette Street, Shelby, NC 28150 or Double Shoals Baptist Church, 318 Old Mill Road, Shelby, NC, 28150.
