Lawndale Hosts Fish Fry for Boy & Cub Scouts Troop 112

Once again, the town of Lawndale sponsored a fish fry to benefit the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Troop 112. It was held at the Lawndale Community Center on Saturday, April 11th.
The Scouts greeted you at the door and were posted throughout the dinning areas to assist everyone. The meal included fish, hushpuppies, cole slaw, french fries, drink and homemade dessert.
Scoutmaster Paul J. Judge had his boys eager to help and thank everyone who came. It was definitely a gracious and enjoyable event. Scoutmaster Judge has been the leader of Troop 112 for 16 years. During his tenure, Troop 112 has produced 7 Eagle Scouts. Since its' beginning in 1941, they have been honored to produce 79 Eagle Scouts. Quite an impressive record. If you care to join, new members are always welcome. They meet at Lawndale Methodist Church every Monday evening at 7 p.m.
