Lawrence Frank Lowrance

Lawrence Frank Lowrance, 91, of Lawndale, passed away Friday, October 19,
2018 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County on January 26, 1927 he was a son of the late
William Frank Lowrance and Frances Short Lowrance. He was retired from
Rutherford Electric as a dispatcher and was a member of Corinth Baptist
Church, Casar.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Estelle
Gardner Moses Lowrance, stepson, Herchell "Bud" Moses; daughter-in-law,
Barbara Moses; grandsons, Roger Evans II and one infant grandson;
granddaughter-in-law, Lenora Evans; three brothers, Fred, Burgin and A.V.
Lowrance; four sisters, Minnie, Darcus, Josie and Carrie; sister-in-law,
Brenda Lowrance.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Whitworth and husband Randy of Grover;
grandchildren, Dawn and Kevin Mertz; stepdaughters, Martha Evans and
husband Steve of Shelby, and Zonia McIntyre and husband Richie of Shelby;
stepson, Alford Moses and wife Cindy of Lawndale; brother, Charles Lowrance
of Grover; grandchildren, Karen Hodges and husband Lee of Ruffin, NC, Karl
Moses and wife Tamara of Polkville, Billy Fredell and wife Gina of Shelby,
Tonyia Honeycutt and husband Thomas of Shelby, Tracy Lugo and husband Ben of
Georgia, A.J. Moses and wife Kristin of Cherryville, and Dustin Moses of
Lawndale; great-grandchildren Savannah Hodges of Ruffin, NC, Will Fredell of
Gastonia, Cory Fredell and wife Courtney of Kings Mountain, Britney Evans of
Kings Mountain, Brianna Evans of Kings Mountain, Josh Bowen and wife Erika
of Grover, Jacob Bowen and wife Catelyn of Grover, Casey Furrow and husband
Josh of Germany, Rebekah Lugo of Virginia, Benjamin Lugo of USMC Active
Duty-Virginia, Malachi Moses and Melody Moses of Cherryville; and
great-great-grandchildren Abram Furrow and Avaleigh Furrow of Germany and
Jackson McDaniel and Haislee Bowen of Grover, Aubree Fredell of Kings
Mountain; special niece, Diane Whisnant of Shelby and his beloved Corinth
Baptist Church Family.

The family will receive friends from 6:30PM until 8:00PM Sunday at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home in Fallston.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Monday, at Corinth Baptist
Church, Casar with the Revs. Robert Goins and Norris Willis officiating. He
will lie in state in the church thirty minutes before the service.

The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
