LC Ruppe, Jr., age 63, of Ellenboro, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center, in Spartanburg, SC.

LC was born October 24, 1955 in Rutherford County to the late LC Ruppe, Sr. and Mary Taylor Ruppe. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed working on or "tinkering" with cars. He loved spending time with his family and especially with his grandchildren who he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Joshua Ruppe.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Sandy Ruppe; one son, Shane Ruppe (Sara); two granddaughters, Emilee and Emberly Ruppe of Boiling Springs, SC. He is also survived by eight brothers and sisters; Cecil Ruppe (Jackie) of Marion, Bruce Ruppe (Pat) of Spindale, Rhonda Smith of Bostic, Christine Smith (Del) of Golden Valley, Michael Ruppe, Vickie Potter ( Doug) and Rita Harris (Dale) of Mooresboro, and Lynn Greene (Gary) of Forest City; and a brother-in-law, Mike Hanson (Angie) of Ellenboro.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Forest City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
