LeGrand Center Kicks Off With Preview Event

On Saturday, August 25th, members of the LeGrand Family, elected officials and dignitaries attended the preview event that was held in the new $19 million LeGrand Center at Cleveland Community College. The 89,000 square-foot multi purpose structure is state of the art in every way. It is the epitome of everything which modern design and technology can be utilized. Saturday’s elegant event featured a toast to the LeGrand family, partners and facility. Guest speakers included, Dr. L. Steve Thornburg, President of CCC, as Master of Ceremonies; Eddle Holbrook, Senior Dean of CCC, Kristin Kurie, President of The Wilderman Group, followed by Hoyt Bailey, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Cleveland County Commissioners, Johnny Hutchins and Ronnie Hawkins and Dan Gerlach, President of the Golden LEAF Foundation. The Frank Love Orchestra was featured prior to the ceremony and later performed a special four tune tribute to the LeGrand family, compiled by Mr. Love.
