Ms. Lena Mae Glenn, 89, of Selby, NC, transitioned peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 15, 1936, in Cleveland County to the late Willie Boykins and Leonia Bowden Boykins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Glenn; three sons, Robert Boykins, Gregory Glenn and Michael Glenn; brother, Albert Lee Boykins; three sisters, Willie Bell Hunt, Hettie Jean Culbreath and Joyce Hall; grandson, San'Chez Brown; and three stepdaughters, Evelynia Scott, Thelma Littlejohn and Betty Jean Poston.

She leaves to cherish fond memories one daughter, Dianne Brown (David) of the home; three stepchildren, Linda G. Huskey, Donald L, Glenn (Lillian), Joe D. Glenn (Brenda) and Robert Louis Glenn (Trina) all of Shelby, NC; three sisters; Ruth Brooks, Cynthia McShaw (Floyd) and Brenda Glenn (Joe) all of Shelby, NC; special grandson, De'Quavionne Brown; great grandson, Ja'Kylen Moore of the home; 23 grandchildren and lots of great grandchildren; best friend, Virginia Black of Shelby, NC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will forever honor her memory.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Golden Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will took place at the church cemetery.
