Lenda Gayle Moore Queen, 76, met Jesus face to face with great joy while surrounded by her loving family, Monday, July 18, 2022 at her home in Long, SC.

A native of Cleveland County she was born June 6, 1946, daughter of the late Ernest and Marjorie Callahan Moore. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Mooresboro.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Moore, and one sister, Donna Faye Mathis.

Left behind to cherish her love and memory include one son, Roger Queen and wife Lori of Caroleen, one daughter and caretaker, Shelly Perez of Long, SC; one sister, Rhonda Keller of Henrietta. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Cody Queen, Dillon Queen, Ashley Harris and husband Jason, Tyler Perez, Lucas Rosas, and Javier Velazquez, ten great grandchildren, two of which were close to her heart, Mat and Aleigha Queen.

A funeral service will be held Friday July 22, 2022, 11 am at Trinity Baptist Church in Mooresboro, officiated by Rev. Mark Frazier. Burial will immediately follow at Cleveland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening July 21, 2022, at Cleveland Funeral Service and Crematory 2518 West Dixon Blvd. Shelby, NC 28152 704-487-5811 from 7-9 pm.
