Lillian Crawley Silvers, age 89, of Forest City, NC, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 in Gaffney, SC.
Lillian was born December 15, 1928 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Grady S. Crawley and Celia Ledbetter Crawley. She was a member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Brenda Cobb (Doug) of Lake Wateree, SC, Sandi Butler (Ray) of Ellenboro, Nancy Silvers of Gaffney, SC; one sister, Carol Moser of Indiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Providence United Methodist Church with Reverend Allen Hall and Reverend David Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Providence United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 128 E. S. W. Dr., Forest City, NC 28043 .
