Lillian R. Cook, age 68, died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home. Born in Cherokee County SC on August 9, 1949 she was the daughter of the late James "Slim" and Lillian Colene Hopper Richards. Lillian was a member of Charity Baptist Church where she taught a ladies Sunday School Class for a number of years. She was a weaver for Minette Mills before she retired. Lillian enjoyed traveling and keeping her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lillian is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Preston Cook; a sister, Carolyn Rebecca Raines; a brother, James Victor Richards; and a grandson, Joshua Charles Cook.

Lillian is survived by a daughter, Angela Colene Cook of Grover; three sisters, Nellie Woody and husband Clifford of Campobello SC, Jane Hanvy of Lawrenceburg TN, and Jackie Dixon and husband Kenneth of Grover; five grandchildren, Daniel Arrowood, Brittany Cook, Anna Feregrino, Christian Feregrino and Lily Feregrino; and two great grandchildren, Khloe Cook and Phoebe Cook.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Charity Baptist Church with Dr. Kyeth Lindsay officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm in the sanctuary.
