Linda Ann Watson, age 60, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at Hospice Wendover. Born in Cleveland County on August 22, 1957 she was the daughter of Harold Watson of Shelby and the late Billie Bolick Watson. Linda was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was an x-ray technician for a number of years and then worked as a medical transcriptionist. Linda enjoyed playing the piano, singing, and Bingo.

In addition to her father, Linda is survived by her son, Steven Holland and fiancée Lindsay of Rutherfordton; a sister, Susan White and husband Bryon of Kings Mountain; three grandchildren, Bella Holland, Wyatt Holland, and Ryleigh Feimster; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Blanton and Rev. Jamie Mosteller officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from, 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, in the sanctuary.
