Linda Bamford Ames, 85 of E. Main Street, Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.

Born in California on November 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late James Bamford and Mary Kivett Bamford. Mrs. Ames was retired from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by by her husband, John Patrick "Pat" Ames; a daughter, Tracy Ames Lind

Survivors include two sons, Jeff Ames and spouse, Todd Jordan of Lawndale and Mike Ames of Lawndale; three grandchildren, Jeremy Jordan and wife, Jessica, Hailey Beaver and husband, Kyle and Hannah Ames and two great-grandchildren, Jasa Jordan and Jaxon Jordan.

Services will be held at a later date.
