SHELBY: Linda Champion, 70, died Friday, December 7, 2018 at White Oak Manor-Shelby. A native of Cleveland Co., she was born to the late Lawrence Ray and Margaret McKnight Champion. She worked for Universal Manufacturing and Kings Department Store from when it opened until it closed. She is survived by her brothers, William Champion and wife Kay and Keith Campion and wife Sherry, both of Shelby and numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Clay-Barnette Memorial services will be at 7:00 pm Friday, December 14, 2018 in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Officiating: Rev. David Costner. A private family burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church 110 Pine Grove Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152
