Linda Elizabeth Wright Gailey, 74 of E. Sanders Road, Shelby, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on January 13, 1948, she was the daughter of the late William Earl Wright and Mildred Elizabeth Harmon Wright. Mrs. Gailey attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Gailey.

Survivors include her son, Phillip Gailey; granddaughter, Kylee Gailey; two brothers, Dennis Wright of Valdese and Donnie Wright and wife, Cheryl of Shelby and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.

The burial will follow the service in the St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery.
