Linda Kay Haskin Ledbetter, 76, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Atrium Healthcare in Kings Mountain. Born in Cleveland County on December 29, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Mary Ruby Needlands Haskin and Heaber Augustus Haskin. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by four brothers, Stephen, Johnny, Larry and Jerry Haskin, as well as, two sisters Deborah Gladden and Sheila Haskin. Linda was a kind, loving and generous mother, grandmother, sister and daughter and will be remembered for her deep love for family.

Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years John David Ledbetter, Jr., her daughter Tina Ledbetter Sobota and a son John Bradley Ledbetter. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren; Christopher Lee Bright, Emilee Marie Smith, John Bradley Ledbetter Jr., Braden Riley Ledbetter and nine great grandchildren, as well as, her sister Willie "Billie" Viola Hamrick and three brothers, Raymond Haskin, Emmett Haskin (Linda) and Bobby Gene Haskin (Libby).

A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 18, 2023 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Richard Stroup offering words of encouragement for those in attendance. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
