Linda Sue Greene Campbell, age 73, of Ellenboro, NC, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at her residence.
Linda was born May 28, 1945 in Rutherford County, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Frank Greene and Dovie Ledford Greene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Blanton, Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of twenty-nine years, Bobby Campbell; three sons, Donald Blanton, Jr. and wife Amy, James Blanton and wife Connie, Robert Callahan and significant other Scarlett Jackson; one daughter, Amy Callahan.; two sisters, Janice Vickers and husband Joey, Annette Landis and husband Fred; and one brother, Eddie Greene and wife Melanie. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Holly Kanipe, Amber Blanton, Hannah Blanton, Noah Blanton, Dylan Curtis, Kamryn Curtis, Waylan Curtis, Cheyenne Curtis, Kristin Bun; three great-grandchildren, Andrew Glawson, Kenley Murray, Elena Kanipe; and the father of two of her children, Bobby Callahan.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chuck Poole officiating. Interment will follow the service at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Harrelson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of James and Connie Blanton, 122 Elk Rd., Ellenboro, NC 28040.
