Locks of Love
Joseph Lovelace shows Jody Edwards hair that is about to be donated.
Jody Edwards has been diagnosed with leukemia. He tries to be positive and hasn’t had a haircut for almost four years. On Tuesday, August 2, Jody went to Trendsetters and had owner Joseph Lovelace cut his hair so he could donate it to “Locks of Love”. Jody’s son Adam also had his long locks cut and donated his hair. What an outstanding example of how people continue to help people. “Locks of Love” is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21, suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Their mission is to return a sense of self confidence and normalcy by utilizing donated ponytails. Joseph says that Trendsetters constantly “seeks and sends hair to this great organization”.
