Lois Marie Mauney Huss, age 92 of Dick Beam Rd. passed away December 16, 2019 at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation. She was born August 2, 1927 in Lincoln County to the late William and Laura Marie Senter Mauney. Lois loved flowers and enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coley "Tump" Huss.

Survivors include her son, Steve Huss and wife, Debbie of Hope Mills; grandsons, Mike Huss and wife, Renelle of Wilmington and David Huss of Fayetteville; and great granddaughter, Coley Huss of Wilmington.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 to 12:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
