Lois Marie Tessneer Mauney, 65 of St. Paul Church Road, Lawndale, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on October 14, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Joe William Tessneer and Mae Lee Woodell Tessneer. She was formerly employed by Triple B and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Casar.

Survivors include two daughters, Toni Lopez-Banda and husband, Efrain of Rutherfordton and Maggie Arndt of Ellenboro; special friend, Jackie Bowen; three brothers, Jimmy Tessneer of Vale, James Tessneer of Casar and Homer Tessneer of Lawndale; two sisters, Barbara Isaac of Crouse and Vicky Blackwood of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church of Casar.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 151 Corinth Church Circle, Casar, NC with the Rev. Homer Tessneer officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery.
