KINGS MOUNTAIN- Lorena "Sis" Hammett Moore, 87, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland. A native of Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Estelle Parker Hammett. She worked as a CNA for many years, and attended Grover Church of God and Harvest Time.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, B.R. Moore; sons, Belton and Billy Parris; daughter, Barbara "Barbie" Parris; and eight brothers and sisters.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Mote and husband Tony of Kings Mountain; step-sons, Billy Johnson and wife Joy of Gastonia, and Steve Johnson and wife Debbie of Kings Mountain; brothers, Harold Hammett of SC, and George Wilson Hammett of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Tony "TJ" Mote, Anthony Mote and wife Heather, William Mote, and Matthew Mote and wife Stephanie; five step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Madyson, Connor, Ethan, and Gracie Mote; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 3pm, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain. The family will receive friends two hours, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

CLERGY: Rev. Ronald Hawkins and Rev. John Johnson will officiate

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Clingman Memorial Gardens, Blacksburg
