Lorene (Polly) Brittain Ramsey, 85, of 502 North Drive in Cherryville passed
away Wednesday September 2, 2015 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born January 4, 1930 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late O.B.
Brittain and Effie Odell Bollinger Brittain Hartman. She was retired from
Cleveland Mills and was a member of Four Square Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie
Moten Ramsey; one son, Johnie Michael Ramsey; five brothers, Graten,
Fletcher, Dwight, Willard and Ralph Brittain; and two sisters, Viola Spencer
and Margie Fay Brittain.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; a
special pet, Blue Shoes and one granddaughter, Christine Marie Swink.

Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center

The funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home & Cremation Center Chapel with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating.

Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
