Lori Sneed Demmery, age 55, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at the home of her parents, surrounded by family.

She was born September 20, 1968, to Robert William "Bob" Sneed and Linda Ann Hendrix Sneed, in Lincoln County. One of Lori's favorite pastimes was scrapbooking with family photos. She enjoyed listening to contemporary Christian music and watching Hallmark movies, one of her favorites being When Calls the Heart. She also loved reading her Bible.

Lori was proceeded in death by her son, Matthew Demmery; and brother, Rocky Sneed.

In addition to her parents, Lori is survived by her son, Bob Demmery, Jr. and wife, Madeline, and their daughter, Scarlett; brother, Rusty Sneed and wife, Sarah and their children, Chloe and Ava; sister-in-law, Lisa B. Sneed and her children, Brittney and Devin; and her special caregivers Pam and Rae.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church in Dallas, with Lori's father, Preacher Bob Sneed officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Gaston County or American Cancer Society.
