Lorine Proctor Robinson

Lorine Proctor Robinson, 78, of Shelby, NC passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on March 30, 1942 in Cherokee County, SC to the late Roosevelt and Maybell Allen Proctor.

Ms. Robinson was a member of White Oak Springs Baptist Church where she served as an usher. As a prayer warrior, she read 48 chapters per week of the bible for over 20 years. A loving, caring and understanding woman, she was known for her encouraging ways. She also loved to garden, cook and make scrap books. She loved her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, J.W. Proctor, Wade Proctor, Arthur William Proctor and Junior Proctor; two sisters, Estella Feaster and Vernie Johnson and a grandson, Antonio Brown.

Left to cherish fond and precious memories of her are her children, Eddie Roy Robinson, Brenda Mack, Amogene Robinson and Vickie Brown all of Shelby and Jammie Robinson (Shibani) of Forest City, NC; sisters, Jullie Mae Allen, Vinnie Ross (William) and Paulette Ross (Jerry) all of Shelby and Dora Ross of Gaffney, SC; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Ms. Robinson will be private. The service will be live-streamed on Facebook starting at 1:45 PM. She may be viewed at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon with a reception of friends at Pentecostal Apostolic Church of Christ 125 West Zion Church Road from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at White Oak Springs Baptist Church in Ellenboro, NC. The family will be meeting at 315 East Elm Street in Shelby. Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloemortuary.com.
