Louise Bumgardner Salmon

Louise Bumgardner Salmon, 94, passed away on Thursday, February 1st, 2024, at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Gaston County on January 29th, 1930, she was the widow of Wilbur Salmon and daughter of the late Albert and Edna Martin Bumgardner. Louise retired after many years from Rose''s Department Store and was a member of First Baptist Church of Gaffney, SC. After retiring, Mrs. Salmon spent her time enjoying being a mom and grandma. Her family was her life.

In addition to her parents and husband of 56 years, Mrs. Salmon was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Salmon, and brother, Boyce Bumgardner.

Surviving Mrs. Salmon are daughter-in law, Connie Salmon, of Chesnee; granddaughters, Stephanie Salmon Hadden (Michael), of Gaffney, Ranail Bennett (Darren), of Boiling Springs; great-grandchildren, Jace Bradbury, Lane Hadden, Cameron Hadden, Taylor Hadden, Mallory Hadden, Gracen Bennett, Kyndal Bennett, Halie Bennett; great-great-grandchild, Brayden Johnson; brother, Eugene "Buddy" Bumgardner, of Bessemer City; and sister, Rebecca "Becky" Garner, of Enoree.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024, from 1:00-2:00pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00pm in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel with Rev. Tommy Comer officiating. Interment will be at Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at their respective homes.
