Louise M. Ferree

SHELBY: Louise M. Ferree, 90, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Thurs., Feb. 15, 2018, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Odis and Macie Hastings Mull. Louise was a member of Second Baptist Church, and worked at Lily Mill, Stone Oil, and retired from Office Max.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Pendleton.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband, Harvey Ferree, of the home; sister, Edna "Pete" Richards of Morganton; children, Karen Pendleton of Forest City and Phil Pendleton and fiancée Kristen of Shelby; Stepson Roger Ferree and wife Linda; grandchildren, Leslie Heffner, Greg Stidham, and Melissa Scism; step grandchild Ana Marshall; great-grandchildren, Tia Scruggs and Whitney Heffner; great-great-grandchildren, Macie and Bryson Scruggs; nephew Tracy Richards and wife Lynn; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home from 2:00 to 3:30 PM

GRAVESIDE SERVICES: A graveside service will be held 1pm, Monday, at Cleveland Memorial Park

OFFICIATING: Dr. Jerry Lail will officiate
