Louise Sprouse, age 83, of Ellenboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born February 2, 1933 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the lat Joe Clark Frashier and Demmie Henson Frashier. She was a graduate of Harris High School, class of 1951. Louise was a member of Goodes Creek Baptist Church where she served on the Food Committee. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, George Gosey and J.W. Sprouse; three brothers, Marvin Frashier, Glen Frashier, James Frashier and one sister, Mary Lou Duncan.
Survivors include daughter, Regina Gosey Fox and husband, Frankie of Forest City; two sons, Dwight Gosey and wife, Cathy of Forest City and Daryal Gosey and wife, Jill of Bostic; nine brothers and sisters, Marlene Adams (J.C.), Crayton Frashier (Elaine), Joyce Jones (Clayton), Judy Epley (Scott) and Brenda Jackson all of Rutherfordton, Wilma Epley (Don), Margaret McCombs (Joe), Jean Hopper (Ronnie) and Dean Frashier (Debbie) all of Forest City. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Dena Yarbrough, Misty Gosey, Stephen Gosey, Misty, Lynn Elliott, Sonya Phillips, Brandon Fox, Candace Reid, Jared Fox, Elizabeth Fox and nineteen great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Goodes Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Chad Hayes and Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
