Love Is In the Air . . .

Roses are red, violets are blue, and this Valentine's Day, we've got the perfect plan for you! Break free from the ordinary and enjoy yourself in a night filled with romance, music, and philanthropy.

Shelby Rotary Club is offering you the opportunity to enjoy an evening of dinner and a show at the Don Gibson Theatre on Valentine's Day, Wednesday, February 14. It begins with a buffet meal at 6:00 pm and the doors open in the theatre at 7:30 pm and show starts 8:00 pm. The event is a fundraiser for the Shelby High Fine Arts Department.

The headline act for the night is none other than Todd Murray, a nationally acclaimed crooner known for serenading hearts with the charm of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. Todd's velvety baritone voice, combined with his affable persona, creates an authentic and genuine experience for the audience.

Elizabeth Williams Taylor, Miss North Carolina 1982, and nationally recognized professionals singer will join Todd in a duet and a solo. Elizabeth is a Shelby High fine arts graduate who went on to Broadway and was featured in a number of Broadway shows.

Want a sneak peek? Go to https://loveisintheairshelby.com/ to watch and listen to videos of Todd's music.

The cost of the VIP package, which includes a buffet meal and a ticket to the show, is $75 per person or $150 per couple. You may purchase a ticket just for the show for $35.00 per person. There is a link on LoveIsIntheAirShelby.com to the Don Gibson Theatre website to purchase tickets for the event or the VIP package that includes the meal.

If you or your business would like to be a sponsor of the event, please contact Bill Murray, Shelby Rotary Club to learn about the opportunities at wam3rd@gmail.com or a Shelby Rotary Club member.

Here is the added benefit for a wonderful evening out with your sweetheart. The money raised will help the Shelby High Fine Arts Department to meet their needs to continue to train students and to perform for the community. Dan Treharne, theater department chair, and Andrew Weimueller, director of the orchestra are Shelby High graduates who returned to teach their passion for the fine arts to the next generation of artists. The funds raised will help subsidize the programs that are offered by band, chorus, orchestra, theater, painting, and graphic design.

Enjoy a night out and support the arts.

Celebrate Valentine's Day by attending Love Is In the Air at the Don Gibson Theatre.
