Lydia Lynn Nalley Haynes, 57, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.

Lydia was born on April 8, 1969, in Cleveland County, and was a daughter of the late Douglas Eugene Nalley and Lettie Ruth Moore Nalley. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Wright.

She is survived by the love of her life, Ronnie Beaver; two stepsons, Birch Beaver and wife Kiley of Mooresboro and Todd Beaver and wife Stacie of Hollis; two brothers Douglas Nalley of Grover and Richard Nalley of Casar; six grandchildren, Layne Beaver, Nathan Beaver (Zuhila), Christian Beaver (Hayden), Myra Beaver, Morgan Black (Cody) and Kristan Beaver (Jacob); and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 3:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Reynolds officiating.

Burial will follow at in church cemetery.
