Macy Elaine Latham, 74 of Selah Place, Kings Mountain, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023.

Born in Mecklenburg County, NC on December 3, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Otis Latham and Mary Wallace Latham.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her son, Chris Joy of Hickory; daughter, Kim Ganous and husband, Gregg of Kings Mountain; her partner, Harold Green of Kings Mountain; step-son, Keith Green and wife, Michelle of Kings Mountain; step-daughter, Missy Downs and husband, Steve of York, SC; four sisters, Connie Lucky of Charlotte, Nancy Hinson of Charlotte, Bessie Powell of Denver and Mary Funderburke of Mint Hill; eight grandchildren, Lauren, Destiny, Alexis, Miranda, Catilyn, Abby, Devon and Austin and seven great-grandchildren, Anna Kate, Messer, Sutton, Emerson, Caanan, Graham and Walker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
