Mallie Louise Sain Richard

Mallie Louise Sain Richard, 88, of Belwood, passed away Friday, February 24,
2017 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 17, 1928 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late John
D. Sain and Madeline Dellinger Sain. She was a retired seamstress at
Shadowline. Mallie was a member of Knob Creek United Methodist Church,
United Methodist Women and sang in the choir. She enjoyed cooking and
sewing for her family, square dancing and spending time at the family
campsite at Lake James.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68
years, W.C. Richard, brother, Kemp Sain, brother-in-law, Jim Peeler, and
sister-in-law, Brenda Sain.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Steen & Lorinda Richard; daughter
& son-in-law, Debbie & Billy Hoyle; two sisters, Meriel Peeler and Carolyn &
Norman Bolick; brother Dale Sain, and sister-in-law Lib Sain; grandchildren,
Todd Hoyle, Angie & Steve Weathers, Amy Richard and Scott & Jackie Richard;
great grandchildren, Dale & Amanda Hoyle, Amber & Aydin Beseli, Charles
Hoyle, Billy Barrett, Abigail Richard and Deacon Richard; great-great
grandchildren, Lane Hoyle and Allison Hoyle.

The visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00PM - 2:00PM at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Tim Ware officiating.

The burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knob Creek United Methodist
Church c/o Tony Willis 6313 Rhoney Rd. Connelly Springs, NC 28612 or Hospice
of Cleveland County 951 Wendover Heights Dr. Shelby, NC 28150.
