Margaret Ann Walker Towery, known affectionately as Margaret, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, in Cherryville, North Carolina, at the age of 80. Born on December 19, 1944, in Gaston County, North Carolina, she was the cherished daughter of the late Gaddy and Callie Walker. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Billie Towery and the loving mother of the late Brian Towery.

Margaret's legacy continues through her devoted son, Michael Towery, her caring daughter, Deborah Towery, her three adored grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, who will all hold her memory dear. Known for her loving nature, generous spirit, and gentle demeanor, Margaret touched the lives of many. Margaret's interests were as varied as they were passionate, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to have known her.

A funeral service to honor and remember the life of Margaret will be held at the Chapel of Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 4:00 pm. The service will be officiated by Rev. Kyeth Lindsay. A time of visitation for friends and family will precede the service from 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private, allowing her family to bid a personal farewell to a remarkable woman whose warmth and kindness will be deeply missed.
