Mrs. Margaret Helen Jones Hardin, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 15, 2018.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca Hardin Clark of Shelby, NC, Selena Hardin Grier of Lattimore, NC, and a daughter-in-law, Reba Hardin of Lattimore, NC.
Born on May 19, 1924 in Cleveland County, Margaret was the daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Ella Jones and was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ernest Hugh Hardin, two sons, Max Eugene Hardin and Robert Hugh Hardin, two sons-in-law, Wayne Clark and Roy Grier, siblings, Forest Jones, Willie Jones, Paul Jones, Florence Mode, Walter Jones, Emmett Jones, Winfred Jones, Fay Jones, and Clifford Jones.
Margaret loved participating at her beloved Lattimore Baptist Church. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, and watching the Atlanta Braves. Mrs. Hardin liked to cook and provided a big meal to her family every Sunday. She loved nature as well, where she liked to take walks with her children and grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Lattimore Baptist Church on Saturday, November 17th at 3:00pm with a visitation starting at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
