Mrs. Margaret "Janette" Wright Wallace,72, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Fairhaven of Bostic.
She was born March 15, 1944 in Rutherford County, the wife of Lewis Edward Wallace and the daughter of the late Robert Hyden Wright and the late Delores Angeline Keiser Wright. She was a retired short-order cook having worked at Jack Horner's, Froggy's, Buddy's and Shake Shop. She loved watching football, was a diehard Elvis fan and loved music by George Jones. Janette loved everyone around her, especially her grandchildren and was truly devoted to her family. She was also a member of Gantt's Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a son, Edward Wallace, Jr. and wife, Greta of Harris; a daughter, Ann Wallace Lane and husband, Robert of Mooresboro; a brother, Norris Wright of Forest City; two sisters, Betty Roper and Sandra Brigman both of Gilkey; two grandchildren, Trey Lane of Gilkey and Katie Lane McGinnis of Bostic and two great-grandchildren, JuliAnna Lane, and LilliOnna Lane.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son: Billy Ray Wallace; a brother, Gerald Wright and a sister, Martha Cash.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, December 23rd at Gantt's Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Lane and Pastor Kenneth Linder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
