Margaret Rebecca Plonk "Becky" Stiles, age 62 of Narrow Gauge Rd. passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 26, 1955 in Gaston County to the late W.D. and Margaret Pasour Plonk. Becky was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she served as a former youth leader. She graduated from North Gaston High School and was formerly employed with Belk's, National Steel Crafters, and Fidelity Associates. She enjoyed crafting, especially making soaps, sewing, and painting.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years and high school sweetheart, Danny Stiles; sons, James Stiles and wife, Jennifer and Dustin Stiles; daughter, Amber Stiles; grandchildren, James A. Stiles, Samantha Stiles, Spencer Stiles, and Riley Moxley; and brothers, Oscar Plonk and wife, Anne, Steve Plonk and wife, Sandy, and Rick Plonk and wife, Angie.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dallas with Pastor Jonathan Schnibben officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service in the church.
