Margaret Smith Evans, 80, of Cherryville, NC, passed away on March 21, 2025 at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation in Cherryville, NC. She was born on May 14, 1944, in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Walter S. and Katie Stoglin Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Evans. Margaret is survived by her siblings, Ronald Smith, Grace Brendle, and John Smith.
