Margie Killian Smith, 86, died Friday, March 5, 2021 at Hospice at Wendover.

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John and Edna Hancock Killian.

She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and lifelong seamstress.

In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Billy Smith; and sister, Ruby Killian.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Smith of Shelby and David Smith and wife Gwen of Gaffney; daughter, Sharon Bradley and husband David of Shelby; sister, Jeanette Arrowood of Gastonia; her grandson, who was the love of her life, Weston Bradley and fiancée Bailey Bradshaw; a host of nieces and nephews; a special thank you to her best friends Eunice and Cleve Daggerhart, Betty and Richard Scott, Ricky and Lyman Jones, and Ken and Mary's; her special neighbors, Jo Dixon, James and Martha Hamrick; her church family at Crestview Baptist, and her longtime dedicated alteration customers through the years; all of her caregivers at Fair Haven for the past two months; and the wonderful caregivers at Hospice of Cleveland County and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

A graveside service will be held 2pm, Monday, March 8, 2021 in Cleveland Memorial Park, with Rev. Jeremy McSwain and Rev. Artie Allen officiating. The family will visit before and after the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
