Mrs. Marie Mary Williams Gilbert age 76 passed away Tuesday August 7, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum, SC.

She is survived by her daughters - Angel Hyder and husband Scott and Becky Collins and her husband Terry; grandchildren - Michelle and Taylor Mills, Dwight and Emily Ward, and Abigail Hyder; sisters - Nora Stevens, Joyce Ammons and husband Bob, Pam Brock and husband Fred, Debbie Pruitt and husband John, Susie Allan and husband Daniel, and Arlene Williams; brothers - Tedd Williams and wife Lett, Floyd Williams and wife Donna, Chester Williams and wife Cindy; brother-in-law Marvin Stevens, sister-in-law Ava Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hilery Lee Williams and Naomi Ruth Miller Williams, her husband A.C. Gilbert, daughter Kathy Ann Ward, sister Lilian Shook and husband Frank, sister Laura Mooring and husband Henry, sister Alice Stevens, and brother Buster Williams.

A celebration of Marie's life will be held 4 PM Saturday August 18, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Polk County with Rev. Warren Elliott and Rev. Bob Ammons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
