Marilyn Nelle Elliott Logan, age 88, passed away Monday, October 30,201. Marilyn was born in Shelby on July 25, 1929 to the late Laurene Costner Elliott and Maurice Peeler Elliott.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack R. Logan, partners in life and in business. Together they owned House of Flowers and later Holly House Interiors. Marilyn was an interior designer and studied at Limestone College and Converse College.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela L. Lee and her husband David; a grandson, Dylan Patrick Lee of Danville, Kentucky and a step-grandson, Cory Olson-Lee of Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Mrs. Logan will lie in state for viewing from 2:00-5:00pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in the chapel at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. A funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. Private burial at Sunset Cemetery.
