Marilyn Sailors Hubbard
SHELBY - Marilyn Sailors Hubbard, 72, of College Avenue, Shelby, died on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Peak Resources of Shelby. Marilyn was born on April 30, 1940, a daughter of the late John Earnest and Anna Mae Hollifield Sailors. She retired from Doran Mills. She loved to play bingo and work puzzles.
 
She is survived by her son, Carl Hubbard and wife April of Ellenboro and Mark Hubbard and wife Kayleen of Shelby; five sisters, Evelyn Goode of Shelby, Ann Faircloth, Rosemary Barkley of Polkville, Kathy McCloskey of Myrtle Beach, and Revondy Pleasant of Forest City; her grandchildren, Joshua Hubbard, John Hubbard, William Bennett, Kaitlyn Hubbard, Noah Hubbard, Savannah Hubbard, Aaron Mathey, Sackery Mathey, Morgan Mathey, and Scarlett Hubbard; one great grandchild, Levi Wilson.
 
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Goode’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
 
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28152.
