Mark "Marty" Pressley Osborne, 86, went to be with our lord on Saturday October 8, 2022.

He was born in Akron, OH on November 6, 1935 and grew up in Brevard, NC.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Mark and Nancy Osborne; and his sister, Carolyn Darst. Marty is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Dellinger Osborne; sons, David Osborne and wife Gayle and Chris Osborne and wife Gail; daughter, Donna Almand and husband Paul; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Marty lived the last 24 years in Shelby, NC where he served in the volunteer fire department. He regularly attended Crestview Baptist Church. Loving the lord, Marty found his ministry in spreading joy and laughter to all he encountered. Marty never met a stranger, but if he had, he would have had them in stitches. The family is comforted knowing that Marty is now with his savior, Jesus Christ. Memorial services will be held at Crestview Baptist Church on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 4pm. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask that donations be made to Crestview Baptist Church of Shelby, NC or Hospice of Cleveland County.
