Marsha Ann Gentry Hill, 59, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at her home in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. She was born in North Carolina on July 19, 1966, and was the daughter of the late Carl Junior Gentry and Barbara Ann Kennedy Gentry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chris Gentry.

Marsha loved her family, especially her grandchildren, who will cherish her memory forever.

She is survived by her fiancé, Ambrose Downs; her children, Scottie Buckner (Santa) and Kyle Buckner; her grandchildren, Katy Buckner and Claire Buckner; and her brothers, Jeff Gentry and Feddie Gentry.

Services for Mrs. Hill will be held privately.
