Mary Bozeman Watford, 71, of Polkville Road, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Watford was born on June 27, 1952 in Grove Hill, Alabama a daughter of the late William Earl Bozeman and Verla Lee Johnson Hall. She was a homemaker and a member of Polkville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Watford.

Survivors include a son, James Michael Watford, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Fairhope, Alabama; a daughter, Rachel Mercantini and husband Carmen of Shelby; five grandchildren, James Watford, III, Annabelle Watford, Anna Mercantini, Joseph Boehlert and Breanna Mercantini; a sister, Carolyn Ann Howland of Leeds, Alabama and a brother, William Earl Bozeman, Jr. and wife Burma of Semmes Alabama.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Polkville Baptist Church with the Rev. Will Davis officiating.

Burial will be private.
