Mary Couch Ezzell, age 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Peak Resources in Shelby.
Mary was born March 3, 1940 in Greenville, SC and was the daughter of the late Claude Cecil Couch and Thelma Fowler Couch. She worked for Mauney Hoisery in Kings Mountain for many years before retirement. She loved cooking and baking for her family and was a member of Harvest Time Assembly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Reynolds; three brothers, John, Charles and James Couch and a sister, Hazel Sprouse.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Nancy Detter and husband, Lewis; two sons, Marvin S. Ezzell and wife, Mialy and Kelvin Reynolds all of Kings Mountain; one sister, Eva Swaney of Charlotte. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Brandy Wiley, Carolyn Rhyne and Shera Davis; two grandsons, Logan Ezzell, Adrian Ezzell, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Mary's wishes, a private memorial service will be conducted for family and friends.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
