Mary Eva Moore Boheler passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Hospice Wendover House in Shelby, NC. Born in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Moore and Mamie Wilson Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Gene Boheler; her sister, Artella Grindstaff; and her brothers, Dean Moore and Billy Moore. Mary Eva cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed camping, working on word searches, and canning food.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Laura B. Crawford (Ernest), and her son, Chris Boheler (Toni); her sister, Margie Greene; her grandchildren, Stacy Crawford (Tara), Thomas "TJ" Crawford (Sami), Matt Boheler (Lindsey), and Taylor Boheler (Donovan); and her six great-grandchildren, Hailee Arrowood, Hunter Crawford, Gunner Crawford, Levi Crawford, Carter Crawford, and Lakelyn Crawford.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Midview Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC, with Pastor Mike Rote officiating (703 Margrace Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to VIA Health Partners or the Alzheimer's Association.
