Mary Janet Willis Bridges, 82 of E. Maiden Road, Maiden, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Lincolnton Rehabilition Center in Lincolnton.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on November 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wilson Willis and Fern Whisnant Willis. She was retired from healthcare and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family more than anything.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Willis.

Survivors include two daughters, Melinda Dix of Maiden and Rhonda Dix of Mooresboro; two sons, David Dix of Knoxville, Tennessee and Daniel Dix of Henderson, Nevada; brother, Gerald Willis of Fayetteville; sister, Patricia Spangler of Connelly Springs and six grandchildren, Jaida, Kara, Luke, Joshua, Kaylee and Andrew.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at St. Peter's United Methodist Church.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 2:00pm at St. Peter's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bruce Dayton officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the St. Peter's United Methodist Church Cemetery.
