Mary-Jo Strait, formerly of Jericho Vermont, passed away in September 2020 peacefully at her current home in Shelby North Carolina.

After a long battle with lung and brain cancer, she died of brain bleeding complications.
She was called to be with the savior Jesus Christ on September 12, 2020 at the age of 65.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 28 years Gary Harold Strait also of Jericho in 2013.

She is survived by her adoring Partner John Anthony Buryk of 8 years. She is lovingly remembered by her Sister Nancy Aquaro of Holmes, NY. As well as her 4 Children; Steven James (35) and girlfriend Alyssa Buckley (35), Jeffery Leon (34) and Daughter-in-law Jennifer Lei (33), Kaitlyn Mary (29) and boyfriend Austin Cobb(28), Mitchell Thomas (27) and Fiancé Kayla-Rae Marcotte (28). She is missed by her grandchildren Jessica Lei (10), Ethan James (9). She was cremated and resides beside her late husbands remains in Shelby NC.

A Pious Roman Catholic, a 12 string guitar player, a voice of a song bird, an active member of the church choir, an artist, baker, and cake decorator of many years, A Mother to many; she will be extraordinarily missed.
