Mrs. Mary Lou Ivester Dale, 84, of 6326 Wards Gap Rd., Casar, NC, passed away, Saturday, May 22, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Dale was preceded in death by her husband, Amon Dale; her parents, Joe and Ola Chapman Ivester; 1 brother, Clarence Ivester; and 1 sister, Minnie Mae Levan.
She is survived by 7 sons, John Henry Dale, Buren Dale, Garfield Dale and wife Sue, and Walter Dale and wife Diane, all of Casar, Joe Dale and wife Brenda of Caldwell County, Gene Dale and wife Sabrina of Brookford, and Arnold Dale and wife Paula of Hickory; 2 daughters, Mildred Gibson and husband Eugene of Hickory, and Frances Starnes and husband Junior of Caldwell County; 1 brother, James Ivester of Shelby; 2 sisters, Pauline Davis of Lincoln County and Irlese Reep of Jonas Ridge; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
